Magic Trick

We are man, we are men,
But we cannot comprehend.

Let the fears of our reality,
Tangle in the symphony.

We are musicians,

Life is a magic trick,
You never get to pick what you pull out your hat,
But you can pick what you put in it.

Youtube FanFest Singapore 2014

First of all, I would like to say thank you!
I've been on this blog for two years now. I was going to post this yesterday, 25/5/14, but I didn't get home until 1 a.m. so it has to go up today.
I cannot thank everyone enough for everything and whatever support I have had over these two years.
If you know me, you know I aspire to do big things, especially with my blog and youtube.
I will continue to blog and make videos until god knows when.
THANK YOU to everyone who has liked my Facebook page, subscribed to me on youtube, followed me here on blogger etc etc etc!

I cannot even begin to explain how magical this weekend was.
We got to Scape for the meet and greet with Jenna. I even asked one of the crew if we could switch the Troyler's meet and greet but they said no, obviously.

On the way up the escalator to Jenna's meet and greet, we met Tyler.
me and Emma's reactions were priceless.
We both said, "OH MY GOD" with really shocked faces and we literally froze and all I could say was "HI TYLER" and he said "Hi.." and then left.
I felt so bad because he looked so scared!
We're sorry Tyler if we scared you!
No, we didn't get a selfie, that's why it's not in the collage.
Honestly, I didn't see him at first because he is so small! I didn't expect him to be so small but he is! He is small but still such a cutie in his polkadot shirt.

We were lining up to meet Jenna but I had to go to the bathroom so I went out.
I got out the door, and Lilly was there. Obviously I took the chance and went over to say hi. Took a selfie as well.
She didn't seem very happy though. I figured it was probably because she was jetlagged and tired. Same goes for Tyler. They both were not as energetic as you would expect.
I mean I'm not complaining because I still met them in person.
Lilly's makeup was FLAWLESS.
Props to you gurlfran.

Then we met Jenna!
She was great. Really.
She was so nice and friendly and because it was a legit meet and greet we got to talk more than usual.
We told her we came from Hong Kong and she was like "WHAT ARE YOU JOKING???". No. We were not.
I don't know what else to say.
She was so cool.
Lots of love, Jenna :3

"Which derp face?"

She said that this was a really good selfie technique. I agree.

Oh my god.
I cannot even begin to.
I can't.

"Why do girls hang out in odd numbers?
Because they can't even."

We finished meeting Jenna and so Emma and I were walking out. We peeked into the room where Troyler were supposed to be but we didn't see them so we left.
We walked around the corner.
And Troye.
Was there.
And then.
I nearly died.
I was like, "TROYE!" and then I went up to him and hugged him and his sweater was the softest thing in the world and then I took a selfie with him and I genuinely think I look stupid but I'm going to ignore that because LOOK AT HOW FLAWLESS THIS BOY LOOKS.
I really hope I didn't smell. Singapore is so freaking hot.

I got home early today because I didn't have class in the afternoon.
And after filming a few videos I just sat down and watched all of Troye's videos. Starting from the first one. No joke.

If you ever stumble across this.. Did you get my notepad in Singapore?

My goal from the start of planning this trip was to meet Troye. And Tyler. But more Troye. Sorry Tyty.
Never in my life would I have thought that I would.

Lots of love to my baby Troye.

Hallo Sean!

Ryan! I've actually met him before when he came to Hong Kong. I don't remember if I've posted a photo so I'll post it again.

I cannot express how thankful and blessed and happy I am for simply being able to go to Singapore for YTFF, let alone meet all of these phenomenal Youtubers!

Dedicated to Yves.

Tshirt- Pull&Bear// Skirt- Zalora// Vest- Forever 21// Necklace- Monki

As always, my title has absolutely no meaning.
Taken by BCHK, edited by me. Don't laugh at my editing. I try.

It's really bloody hot and humid in Hong Kong now.
It's like walking into a steam room. But unwillingly.

I call this necklace my ten chainz necklace. It literally has ten chains.

Yes this is a new vest. Don't judge me. It was on sale and I had to have it because it's mint, faux leather and quilted. Like my holographic skirt, it is three good things in one. What more could I want?
Gold. But we'll save that for when I get rich and famous aite.

My shirt actually says "I'm Your Superhero" with a cat superhero on it because if you haven't noticed already, I like cats.

Now here's a little review on this skirt. It wasn't expensive, less than $100 if I remember correctly. Generally it's okay. It fits, there are no holes (yet), nothing's broken (yet). However, I can tell you that the quality is bad.
This skirt came in one size. I have relatively big hips so it is a bit tight around my body. The material is so thin and not well sewn that you can actually start to see the sewing in the middle loosening.
On the inside, there are lots of threads everywhere and going in all directions. Not to the extent where things are falling apart, but to the extent that you know that the quality is bad.

I've realised that I always start off my posts with weather forecasts.

P.S. There are two hints at two new videos in this post. Holla!!!!!

Waffles | Sushi | Ice Cream | PMQ

Today was an exam day. Did I go out anyways? Yes.
Massive cramming commenced yesterday.

I went to Wafffle! first because well I was hungry. Considering how much waffles generally cost, I think this was relatively reasonable. This is great if you like belgian waffles. It was ~$28 for the normal waffle and another ~$15 for unlimited toppings. The waffle is slightly larger than palm-sized. I guess the unlimited toppings made up for the kind of pricey waffle.
It was good though. I like waffles.

Then I went for sushi at Itacho Sushi. Because why not, right?

Then I went for ice cream at XTC. Because why not, right?

Is this how obesity begins?

I quite like Itacho because they're quite cheap (sort of, in the sushi world they are).
I went to the one in Central opposite Pizza Express. I think it's quite new. There was no one there because I went in the late afternoon. The food came fast because there was no one there obviously.
A couple of things that made this particular Itacho Sushi kind of special:

1. They didn't give us tea/cups. I really need my tea especially at sushi places.
2. I wanted to go to the toilet but there was someone inside and so I waited outside. The woman comes out and turns out it's the waitress. So I was like oh alright. I walk in and BAM poo smell.

Just thought I'd share.

XTC is and has been one of my favourite ice cream stores since I was young. I've always loved their mango sorbet. Try it. It's the bombdiggidy. I have a tub at home because you can buy them from Citysuper. I had the lychee today and that was also the bombdiggidy. Their ingredients are superb and there is so much flavour that you know is just not artificial. You can taste the real-ness.
XTC, props to you.

And then I went to PMQ!
I was surprised when I saw it to be honest.
It looks like a prison/school.
I expected it to be really modern, and in some ways it is, but it still looks like a prool (prison school?).
It looks really interesting. Not all the shops are filled up yet, but the ones that were there were cool. Lots of accessory shops. They're the fancy, expensive but not super high class type of stores. If you get my drift. If you don't then sorry.
Not super impressed because well I'm a cheap ass and I only buy cheap things no shame.
